The Digital Library of the KB offers online access to a large number of national and international databases, electronic journals and catalogues, of which many in the field of music.

For access to most of these files a year pass is required.

RILM Abstracts of music literature
This international music bibliography gives references (with abstracts) to books, dissertations and journal articles as well as to reviews of books, sheet music editions and sound recordings.
This database offers around 700,000 musical sources, mainly in manuscript, catalogued in detail according to academic criteria. The manuscripts are currently housed in hundreds of libraries and archives around the world. They pass down to later generations the musical works of 30,000 composers.

Online Contents
Contents of nearly 15.000 journals in all sciences.
STCN Dutch retrospective bibliography for the period 1540-1800. Contains descriptions of books published in the Netherlands and published abroad in the Dutch language. The STCN is made on the basis of library collections in the Netherlands and abroad, including the NMI.
(Lexis Nexis)
Daily updated digital archives of various newspapers and magazines. Dutch newspapers since the early 1990's, regional newspapers, journals and magazines since August 2008.
